Prosecutor General’s Office to start mass checks at pension funds

MOSCOW, Jul 30 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office plans to start mass checks of all pension funds in August, First Deputy Prosecutor General Alexander Buksman told reporters on Tuesday.

“Under the presidential order, we are starting to check compliance of pension funds with the legislation. The checks should be organized with utter accuracy. Facts of illegal withdrawal of pension savings from the Pension Fund of Russia, inappropriate use of funds should be legally assessed, including criminal charges where necessary,” he said.
